Sailing Shack is built for sailors by sailors. We want it to be the destination site for sailors who want to buy or sell new and used racing yachts, gear and clothing. It also contains information on the yacht clubs we sail from, the yachts we sail, the weather we are likely to experience and even coaches who can help us improve our skills on the water.
Sailing Shack is built to be interactive. If you want to provide information about a racing yacht, yacht club or coaching service we don’t have then please upload it in the area provided and we will review and post it for you.

Rob Hartnett
Rob is a former state and world champion in the J-24 class who has been sailing since the age of 8 in one design dinghy, keelboat, sportsboat and offshore events. Rob currently races a Laser standard rig in the Masters competing at state and national level. Rob is a member of Sandringham Yacht Club and Sorrento Sailing Couta Boat Club
Ben Hartnett
Ben is a former Optimist and Minnow sailor and is currently racing a Laser Radial competing at state, national and international level.
Leisa Hartnett
Leisa is a former Victorian champion in the J24 class and has raced Couta Boats extensively before becoming an Opti and Laser parent.
