The 2012-2013 Australian Open Laser Championships have concluded. The series was sailed in windy conditions with most races in 15-25 knots and some races seeing gusts in excess of 30 knots and big wind shifts. However the champions always come out on top. Many sailors had personal best results and for me a highlight was seeing Tom Vincent sail from 23rd to 3rd in one lap to clinch the Youth Radial title in the final heat.
