Rumour has it that the Laser will get a carbon fibre top mast in the future. Testing is happening around the world with apparently positive results. This would be great move forward as it is getting expensive for many Laser owners who need to replace bent top masts on a all too regular basis. I know the rumour has been around for a while but I think this time we are closer.
