2

The International Flying Dutchman is a single class two man single trapeze dinghy of 6.05m in length with a 1.8m beam. It’s renowned for its speed to windward throughout the sailable wind range. An Olympic class from 1960 until 1992. Raced in 45 countries and all mainland states of Australia. A fantastic class but be ready to spend as much as you would on an Etchell for equipment. Many Australian sailing elite were FD sailors such as Nigel Abbot, Ross Lloyd, Ian Brown and Mark Bethwaite to name a few.<
