Malcolm Page
Olympic Gold winner in the 470 class in 2008 Malcolm Page is going for the double in 2012. Malcolm has teamed up with Matthew Belcher who was the helmsman of Malcolm Page and Nathan Wilmot’s back up 470 team with Nick Behrens.
As Nathan Wilmot has decided not to pursue the 470 and Malcolm Page had the desire to go again, it is game on and a formidable pairing. Malcom at 36 has a wealth of experience which will compliment the younger Belcher who is just 26. The 470 is no stranger to sailors with plenty of experience with people like Kevin Burnham, Morgan Reeser and Gary Geitz sailing the class at international level for many years on end.
Malcolm Page is also a great guy and Ben Hartnett is shown above with Malcolmholding Malcolm’s 2008 medal. We look forward to seeing the new 470 team in action in Melbourne this month for Sail Melbourne where we will be sailing our Tasar “Speed Racer”.
